What is a Doula?
A doula is a specially trained labor support assistant who provides
emotional, physical, and informational support for the birthing family.
Doulas act as an advocate and mediator for the birthing family to help
ensure that the family's wishes and desires are communicated and
understood by their care providers.

Laurel has been providing doula services for over 12 years. She is a certified doula with CAPPA and trains Labor Doulas for CAPPA with her partner Tania Richards. She has recieved training for providing doula services with CAPPA, DONA, and ALACE.
