MotherJourney offers classes, products, and doula services to support Colorado women during the childbearing year. MotherJourney also trains lactation and childbirth educators for CAPPA. Classes offered throughout Denver Metro Area. Please note: MotherJourney is not accepting doula clients for 2008 due to Laurel's hectic travel schedule.
Classes for Families
- MotherJourney - Complete, holistic childbirth preparation. Private, weekend and intensives available. A journey into the heart of pregnancy and motherhood through experiential exercises including artwork, claywork, journaling, beading, music, and visualization.
- Designed to enable women to develop emotional, physical, spiritual and community support through the use of mindfulness meditation, yoga postures, visualization and sharing
- Breasteeding Classes - emotional, physical and social components and practical aspects of breastfeeding a newborn.
- Herbs and Exercise for Pregnancy - relieve prenatal discomforts, have optimal nutrition, feel better and use optimal fetal positioning.
- Aromatherapy for pregnancy- learn about what essential oils are, how to use them, their benefits, and oils specific for the perinatal period.
- Private in home classes for families needing extra intimacy and comfort.
